Happy Sunday Funday 🙂 & less than 50 days now until the Pitt Half!
This week was so stressful & a little scary for me. Monday i was scheduled for 4 miles. It was beautiful out & I didn’t want to run on the treadmill, but I didn’t want to go to the muddy trail. I decided to run around my neighborhood which is incredibly hilly. I only got 1.5 miles in & I had to stop. My leg was killing me. I spent the next 3 days crying & worrying that I reinjured myself & that my dreams of crossing the finish line in May were over.
On Friday, I went to the gym so that I could try to run with a compression sleeve, in hopes that it would help. I did 2 miles & while my leg felt weird, I didn’t feel any pain. Thank God! So, I skipped most of my runs, including my long run this week, but I plan to be back at it tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a safe & fun St. Patty’s Day weekend! I spent it with fun people & had a blast!
Also, as of Friday, I’ve lost 25 lbs total 🙂 5 lbs to go until my goal weight & 3 weeks until my cruise!
