Five Things Friday – Halloween Weekend!

Hi folks!

So, I see a ton of other bloggers writing “Five Things Friday” posts so I figured I’d join in on the fun! I’m going to start off by listing my five favorite scary or Halloween themed movies since it is Halloween weekend!

1 – Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) – Ok, nobody judge me because I enjoy the most recent remake! I watched it last night with all the lights out & it still gives me the creeps. Rooney Mara is amazing! & the blood & gore is definitely there. Although I will always prefer Robert Englund as Freddy.

2 – Hocus Pocus (1993) – Because honestly, who doesn’t LOVE this movie & have to watch it every single year no matter how old you are!

3 – Freddy vs. Jason (2003) – Every time I mention this is one of my favorite scary movies, they laugh & all say it was the worst one. That’s fine, to each their own.. but I totally love this movie. & Jason Ritter. ❤

4 – The Ring (2002) – because I couldn’t sleep for a week unless my overhead light was on after I saw it.

5 – The Sixth Sense (1999) – “I see dead people” was the single scariest sentence I had ever heard for many years after I saw this movie. It might still be the scariest line in a movie to me.

And there you have it! Yes, I understand I have odd taste in movies.. but I love those 5! And many more, but those are the ones that stand out the most to me.

What are some of your favorite scary movies? What are your plans for Halloween?

There are a ton of movies I won’t even attempt to watch, like the Conjuring! No thanks! Enjoy your Halloween weekend! 🙂
