Once December hits, I go full blown Christmas everything. I absolutely love the holidays. My mom will tell you I got it from her. (She’s a junkie for Christmas everything too.) Christmas music, decorating my tree, baking cookies (for myself…), & watching all of my favorite Christmas movies. For this Five Things Friday post, I am going to list my Top 5 favorite Christmas songs. 🙂
1 -Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – (by just about anyone) but I have two favorite versions.
For whatever reason, I find this song to be very sad. But, in a good way!
2 -Christmas Eve/Sarajevo – Trans Siberian Orchestra because.. obviously. My Mom used to take me to see them in concert every year for something like 6 or 7 years in a row.. & they NEVER disappoint. We saw them last year when they came to Pittsburgh. This is always my favorite song.
3 – N*Sync – Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays ..again because.. obviously. Nothing puts me more in the Christmas spirit than this song.
4 – Glee Cast – Baby, It’s Cold Outside because I was SO #TeamKlaine when this show was on. And this scene was adorable. Check it out below if you haven’t seen the performance.
5 – Brenda Lee – Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree because I love the movie “Home Alone” & this scene in the movie was fun.
There you have it! My top 5 favorite Christmas songs ever. There are obviously a ton more & I had a lot of trouble narrowing it down. What are some of your favorite Holiday tunes? Do you wait until Christmas to turn them on or are you a December 1st kind of person like I am?
