1 more week until Christmas! For this Five Things Friday post, I will be listing my favorite holiday movies!
1 – The Santa Clause
This is my absolute favorite Christmas movie of all time. ALL TIME. My family & I don’t even need to watch this movie to be able to quote the entire thing line by line from start to finish. “Chocolate milk, please.” “We’re out.” “Plain milk’s fine…” “When I wake up, I’m getting a cat scan!” (which for the record, when I was younger, I had NO CLUE what that was. Now it’s funny to me) . I will most likely watch this movie more than once this month.
2. Home Alone (1 or 2)
Mostly because I always wished my parents would leave me home alone for a few days & I could have as much fun as this kid did. I enjoy both of these movies equally. But, Lost in New York is probably the winner between the two in my opinion.
3. It’s a Wonderful Life
This movie has always been sort of a “tradition” in my family’s house. I used to hate it when my Mom would make me sit through this movie. But as I got older, I understood the concept & have grown to really love this movie.
4. The Holiday
This is more of a holiday-“ish” movie, but I have always loved it. And since I’m a hopeless romantic.. I would just like this to be my life. Please & thanks. Oh, & Kate Winslet is an angel.
I am almost sure this is on everyone’s list. It’s a funny, light-hearted movie that is a true gem for the holidays.
What are some of your favorite holiday movies? Do you have any holiday movie traditions in your family? I want to know!
