Happy Friday!! This week has seemed to go on forever – first full week back to work, as I’m sure it was for everyone!
In today’s Five Things Friday post, I will be sharing five goals (or things I want to do) for 2016. Some say it’s taboo to share your goals.. but I don’t believe in that stuff 🙂 I hope by posting some of mine, I will inspire you to create some of your own, & if you already have.. share them with me!
1 – I’d like a 10k PR. Currently, my PR is from Great Race (1:09) & I’d like to see if I can beat that this year!
2 – Participate in a mud run. I signed up for the Dirty Girl Mud Run with a friend of mine in June.. This will be something new & different for me & I’m really looking forward to it.
3 – Run some more trails. I have only run trails a few times, & I’m so slow.. I’m always afraid I’m going to twist an ankle. But I would like to run the Two Face 10k (both road & trail 10ks) this August.. so in order to not completely fall on my face during the trail portion, I need to get some more trails in my schedule!
4 – Join a rec softball league! I haven’t played since I was a kid, & I probably need A LOT of practice but I think this would be an awesome way to meet new people & be active as well!
5 – Do more stretch & body weight exercises. I’m so bad at this, & I think that’s why I feel like my body hates me after every run – so in order to get myself stronger, I really want to try & fit this into my every day life.
