What’s Next for Eat Run Love…?

Happy Thursday everyone! I’ve had this post on my mind for a couple of weeks now (essentially since after Buffalo Creek, which is officially the last time I ran). So, I wanted to officially talk about it & put it out there into the blogosphere.

Question: What’s next for Eat Run Love with Ciara?

Answer: Well, I’d like your help with that! I’m reaching out for some suggestions & input. This blog in its 2 years of life has been mostly filled with training recaps, race recaps, & fitness related material… which I LOVE talking about. That’s the majority of what I enjoy talking about on here. But I’ve been thinking I’m so open to talking about other things! I’m willing to see what else I’m passionate talking about here. I’d like to start doing weekend recaps (when I actually do something fun) so that I can have a record of them to look back on. (is that something you guys would be interested in reading? or is that completely bore-central?)

I’m not super into fashion & I’m not that great of a cook so I know that’s out (sorry, foodies). And I do enjoy doing random Friday Fives & my “Currently…” posts here.

Any other suggestions? Input? I’d really like to know what you guys would enjoy reading on here.

I like weekend recaps, as I’m sure you could tell. I also like Currently & Friday Five posts. We still have to work on teaming up with Katie for a few nutrition posts, which I think will be great.

I think you should talk more too about your weight loss (if you haven’t already) – how you got started, what changes you made right away, which were harder to make & how you’ve kept it off. Weight loss can be such an overwhelming thing that happens slowly & it can be so hard to stay motivated.

I also think a day in the life post would be cool, you’re unique in that you’re going to school at night, so your days definitely look different than mine.

We should keep brainstorming together too, I feel like it’s always so easy to come up with ideas for other people, but never myself.

I agree with Jessie on all those ideas! I also love “favorite things” posts. I’ve found some awesome products from hearing what other people try and live. I also love when people write about other things they’re passionate about, whether fitness related or other. I look forward to whatever you decide to write about!
