Week 4 felt like exactly what I needed! I got in the miles that I needed & felt good about it.
Sunday – I went on a quick 3 mile run around Carnegie to test how I was feeling. I spent the 2 days before that on the couch due to a sinus infection so I was glad to get out & get these miles in.
Monday – I went to EFX @ FASTER & had an amazing workout! I almost didn’t go. Halfway through the day at work, I didn’t feel like going, so I cancelled it. Then I realized I was just making excuses, so I signed back up & went. So glad I did! Coach Jason is amazing.
Wednesday – I wanted to get out for a quick run after work but after I put my running clothes & headed outside, it started raining. Nah. I’m not that hardcore anymore. I didn’t really need the miles so I decided to run errands instead.
Thursday – I went to the gym as it snow flurried outside, but decided only to do 2 miles.
Saturday – It was absolutely FREEZING Saturday morning! I met up with Pro Bike + Run around 730am for 6 miles. We dodged icy sidewalks & streets, but the coach of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation team had hot soup & peach/blueberry cobbler waiting for us. It was delicious & we raised almost $700 for CF! I love these runs when they come. I enjoy talking to new people & I love raising money for a good cause!
